Hi! My name is Max. I'm a rising junior from the UK, currently at UNC Chapel Hill studying CS on a year abroad. My main interests are machine learning, systems, and infrastructure.
Right now I'm taking classes in areas like formal languages, computer architecture, and robotics, while working on ShardGate, my current spare-time project -- a sharded token-bucket rate limiter built in Rust with Tokio.
In my free time I like to write horror stories, play a lot of competitive video games, and mess around with electronics and various computer parts.
